The deposit scheduler is a new program that allows Sales & Reservations to plan the deposits a guest has to make for a reservation. 

Deposits can be scheduled in amount or percentage, percentage calculates amount, amount calculates the percentage. 

  1. You can schedule a deposit right after the reservation is created or schedule the deposit to an existing reservation. Enter the reservation ID (if this is an existing reservation) or click on the "deposit planner " after you save the booking. 
  2. E-Hors will show the reservation amount. When the reservation is modified affecting the total amount of the reservation changes will also reflect in the Deposit Scheduler.
  3. Enter the deposit amounts or percentages and click save. This could be 2, 3, 10, 20 deposits if you like.
  4. If you enter an amount, the total must be the same or lower than the reservation amount. When you enter a new schedule, the sum of the deposit can never be higher than the amount of the reservation.
  5. If you enter a percentage E-Hors will just calculate the amount based on the percentage, whereby the max is 100, but if lower is entered that will be accepted.
  6. There is no need to report a payment, the payment should be booked on the folio and will show up (see point 3), if the total amount received > reservation amount, deposit amount and deposit percentage become zero.
