STOCK CORRECTION ACCIDENTAL– is used for incidental correction due to breakage, spoilage and etc.
Stock correction is based on CM (volume).

Note: In stock take and stock correction items that are no longer linked to a department will not appear in the listing.


  1. Go to the "Correction Accidental" tab.
  2. Search the item that you want to correct. 
  3. Correction: Click in the item related stock location you wan to do the correction. Type the quantity you want to correct. (A stock correction is considered to be a negative therefore, you need to put a positive value).  Meaning, if the value is positive, it will deduct the stock, if the value is negative the stock will increase.
  4. Remarks: state the reason for the correction.
  5. Date: By default, Ehors will display today's date. Change the date of the correction if it happens before. 
  6. Save Click Save when done.

STOCKTAKE – Is This is used for inventory. Stocktake is based on SM (stock measurement). The value you enter is the actual count of the item.

Note: Stock is a real-time process, which should be performed at the actual stock location.


  1. Go to the "Stocktake" tab.
  2. Select the Division, Department & location. You can also just search for the location and Ehors will populate the related Division. without having to select the Division and Department.
  3. Select the item category, this is optional, this is only if you want to perform the stock take based on the Item category. If there is no item category selected, Ehors will show all the items under the selected location.
  4. Wastage: Depending on the hotel's policy, you need to click wastage if the cost account for wastage is different than the cost account for the regular expenses. 
  5. Enter the stock count. The stock count is based on stock measurement. E-hors will automatically calculate the stock correction, and the result will be your new stock position.
  6. Enter the remarks .(not mandatory)
  7. Click "save" when done.
  8. Print: Click this button to get the PDF overview of the stock inventory. You can always click Print over overview before or after stock take.
