Revenue type is used to group revenues for the reporting categories in the Daily Revenue Report (DRR), one of the key reports in the hotel industry.
The revenue types are defined by E-Hors and the user cannot create his own.
Usually, when revenues appear wrongly in the DRR (Daily Revenue Report), it is due to a wrong revenue type. In this program, the user can change the link and decide whether the user wishes to update past transactions as well.
Remarks: This is a “Per Property” program. This means, add edit, delete will not affect other properties.
HOW TO UPDATE THE REVENUE TYPE BDI?
For example, the extra bed (BDI Name) was wrongly linked to revenue type “Extra bed charges”, so you want to modify the revenue type from “Extra bed charges” to “outlet charges”.
- Select the revenue type.
- Select the BDI name you wish to modify.
- Select the “New BDI revenue type”
- If you click Update Existing Revenue “No”, nothing will be changed in the database. It will only update future transactions.
- If you click Update Existing Revenue “Yes” you will need to select all existing revenue “yes” or “No” to change the records within a certain date range.
- Select the date range.
- Click submit
