This program sets the tentative date for a reservation. In Ehors there are 3 tentative settings. These settings can be found in the property Setting PROPERTY SETTINGS MANUAL.
| Tentative Days | Sets the default number of days the reservation will be canceled if tentative. This value is counted from the date of reservation. |
| Tentative Max | Max can overwrite the default value during the reservation, however, Max cannot exceed the value set here. This value is counted from the date of reservation. |
| Tentative Min | Minimum days a reservation could be considered as a Tentative Reservation, the value is counted from the date check-in. |
If the system setting (require deposit =yes) the setting percentage to receive to confirm the reservation has to be met with deposits receive. If so, Ehors will change the status from tentative to confirm.
Scenario:
The Tentative Days setting of the property is set to 21 days and the Tentative Min is set 2 days.
Today's Date is June 29, 2021. The tentative DCI of this reservation is July 13, 2021.
How To Change The Tentative Date?
- The reservation must be created first.
- Search the tentative reservation either by reservation ID or using the search filter.
- Once you selected a reservation it will redirect you to the 2nd page of the program.
- Go to the Reservation function Tab and Locate the "tentative date ". (see image 2)
- After clicking the tentative date function, there will be a pop-up.
If the system setting (require deposit =yes) the setting percentage to receive to confirm the reservation has to be met with deposits receive. If so, Ehors will change the status from tentative to confirm.
This is only needed if you don't want to follow the default setting for the tentative date in the system. Meaning you can select a "custom date" and in this example, I can only select the date June 29, 30, and July 1-11 because the setting of the tentative Min is "2 days". You can also change the frequency of the reminders from here and the percentage to receive to confirm the reservation.
