This is where you manage your room inventory. You can only start with the room management program once the (accommodation, bed types, locations) has been set up in the system.


To Add

  1. Click "Add new record"  and enter the room number.
  2. Select the accommodation type of room number you are adding.
  3. Location: Select the location.
  4. Enter the size of the room.
  5. Remarks: Enter any comments you would like to share with others with regards to the room (internal reference).
  6. Joined with Room: This is normally used for connecting rooms. Just make sure that the other room number you wished to join with is already created.
  7. Overbooking room: By default is no, Click yes if you want to increase the inventory virtually, allowing to overbook however this can be very dangerous. 
  8. Smoking: Click yes if it's a smoking room. 
  9. Select the bed type(s) for this room, default qty is 1, you can change the qty by clicking the arrow up or down or simply enter the qty.
  10. Preference: Select the preference or amenities of the room from the list. If it's not on the list, the preference can be created by typing the name in the box and click the + button. Avoid to make any typo error, once the preference is added, you cannot delete it anymore. This information will be available on mouseover in the FO program.
  11. Click Submit if you have the intention to add the next room number. Clicking submit will only refresh the field room number & Joined with the room if it was selected, the rest of the selected information previously will remain, this will make your work faster especially if you are adding all the rooms in the same accommodation type. You can always add more info. 
  12. Finished: Click finished when everything is done. This will close the pop-up.



To Edit

  1. Click the "edit" icon and start editing the data.
  2. Click "submit" when done.
  3. Click "Cancel" if you don't want to make any changes.



To Delete (deactivate)


  1. Select the room number that you want to deactivate, click the "deactivate" button.
  2. Are you sure you want to de-activate this record?
  3. Click "OK".



To Re-activate

  1. UN-tick the box “hide inactive” to show the inactive records.
  2. Locate the room number that you want to re-activate, click the "re-activate" button.
  3. Are you sure you want to re-activate this record?
  4. Click "OK".
