The In-House Guest Ledger Report displays the Folio Name and folio details for all In-house guests. This means that guests must be checked in or the status is (inhouse) to appear on this report.

This report will also help you to identify Long Term stays and guests who extended their stay needing additional payments.

For example, if the Folio Balance is negative, It means that the deposit paid is higher than the charges at that particular moment.


High Balance will result in a report where only folios are listed with a balance higher than the value sets in the system setting called high balance. Please refer to this manual ( PROPERTY SETTINGS MANUAL )

REMARKS: IHGL must tally with the account in finance IHGL. There can be however a discrepancy, in case of a discrepancy there is a super/master folio that still has a balance of a deposit paid, which has not been transferred during check-in. This balance needs either to be refunded or there might still be one room that needs check in.

To Generate an IHGL report, Go to Finance>Finance Operation Reports> In House Guest Ledger.

Select the Date, choose if you want to see a summary or detailed report. Click "Submit" when done. The report will be generated in Excel.

To Generate a High Balance Report.

Select the Date, choose if you want to see a summary or detailed report. Tick the box High Balance Only. Click "Submit" when done. The report will be generated in Excel.
