Group accommodation is a program that allows creating a group of accommodation that represents 100%.
E.g. a customer has camping, dormitory, 3 stars, and 5-star accommodation. Obviously, these accommodations should not be grouped in 1 for the calculations of the occupancy percentage, therefore this program. Each group created represents 100%.
Remarks: This is not an "ALL property" This means adding new records, edit and delete is per property.
This is a one time set up.
To Add
- Enter the Accommodation Group name.
- Select the accommodation belonging to one group. Select all if you only have one group of accommodation.
- Click Submit when you're done.
To Edit
Double-check before you edit a group, as it might affect the occupancy percentage.
Be aware that the occupancy of one group will be affected which means the existing reservation if modified as well as new reservation in case the rate code includes an occupancy formula
- Click the "edit" icon and start editing the data.
- Click "submit" when done. Click "Cancel" if you don't want to make any changes.
To Delete (deactivate)
Double-check before you delete a group, as it might affect the occupancy percentage.
Be aware that the occupancy of one group will be affected which means the existing reservation if modified as well as a new reservation in case the rate code includes an occupancy formula.
- Select the group that you want to deactivate, click the "deactivate" button.
- Are you sure you want to de-activate this record?
- Click "OK".
To Re-activate
- UN-tick the tick box “hide inactive” to show the inactive records.
- Select the group that you want to re-activate, click the "re-activate" button.
- Are you sure you want to re-activate this record?
- Click "OK".
