This program sets the occupancy levels for the accommodation occupancy formula related to yield management.
The accommodations must be created first before the occupancy level can be added. Available accommodations will be displayed on the left.
Remarks: This is a “Per Property” program. This means, add edit, delete will not affect other property.
In many cases, the occupancy levels for the different accommodations are actually the same. Therefore when a new percentage is entered it will automatically appear under all accommodation codes. So there is no need to create the same occupancy levels for each accommodation. If certain accommodations have different occupancy levels, they can be edited without affecting the percentage of the other accommodation.
This is a mandatory program and at least 1 level must be added to the grid. If no levels have been created the "result" function in the rate code will not work.
To Add
- Enter the value of the occupancy level by typing or by clicking the arrow up & down. This could be 30,50,60,80, or 90.
- Click the button "add to the grid".
- Click Submit when done.
The sorting of the occupancy level is from lowest to highest.
To Edit/Delete
Edit
- Select from the list of accommodations. Select the occupancy level that you want to edit. All individual percentages can be overwritten.
- Click "submit" when done.
Delete
- The example below shows that I'm changing the number of rows (column) from 4 to 3 only. This means, that number of columns to be displayed should only be 3 columns.
- The occupancy that will be removed is the lowest after clicking the button "APPLY".
After Clicking "Apply", The column for the 60 percentage has been removed.
