PROMO CODES MANUAL

This program allows the user to create so-called promo codes that can be linked to rate codes.

Promo codes are promotional actions for which the guest has to use code during the booking process to be able to claim the benefits of the promo code.

Remarks: This is a “Per Property” program. This means, add edit, delete will not affect other properties.

To Add

The basis details must be added first before you can add all the other important details in the promo where the promo is applicable.

1. Click the "add new record"
2. Enter the Promo Code Name & the description. The promo code name must be unique.
3. Select the booking Period from & Until.
4. Select the Promo Valid From & Until.
5. Click Submit when done. 

Book period from & Until is the date when you can book the promo code.
Promo Period from & until is the date when the promo code is applicable (Staying Period).
So example, I can buy something today that has a promo code only applicable next year.

RULES:  The booking period is always during or before the validity period.

To Edit

1. Click the "edit" icon and start editing the data.
2. Click "submit" when done.
3. Click "cancel" if you don't want to make any changes.

To Delete (deactivate)

1. Select the promo code that you want to deactivate, click the "deactivate" button.
2. Are you sure you want to deactivate this record?
3. Click "OK".

To Re-activate

1. UN-tick the box “hide inactive” to show the inactive records.
2. Select the promo code that you want to re-activate, click the "re-activate" button.
3. Are you sure you want to re-activate this record?
4. Click "OK".
