E-Hors POS system for restaurants can also provide an App, which is purely an order station.
The App is not downloadable from Playstore and only runs on Android.
E-Hors provides an APK or generates the mobile version as needed.
To start, Download the APK file provided by Ehors and install it on the mobile or tablet that you will be using. See the example below.
Once the APK is installed the icon will be displayed on your mobile/tablet screen.
- Click on the POS icon.
- Enter your username and password and click Login.
- Select the property, the selection of property will only appear if the user is authorized to work with multiple properties, if the user is only authorized to work with one property, then there is no need to select.
- Select the outlet name. The same goes for the selection of outlet. The selection of outlet will only appear if the user is authorized to work with multiple outlets, if the user is only authorized to one outlet, then there is no need to select. It will automatically redirect you to the selection of the section
- Select the section, a restaurant can sometimes have multiple sections. An example of a section is an outdoor area (alfresco) or an indoor area. If there is only one section in the restaurant then the selection is not needed, it will automatically redirect you to the selection of a table.

6. Select a vacant table (Green is vacant, red is occupied).
7. Invoice Name: This field is editable, by default is POS mobile if the order comes from the mobile app. No. Of Pax. The default no of pax is 2, you can change it by clicking the negative or positive sign, you can also type the no of pax manually. Click on create Invoice to continue.
8. Meal Period: This automatically changes based on your timings. Select the Menu Category - All recipes for the selected menu category will appear. You can also search for the recipe name. The result is based on the selected meal period. There is no need to type the complete name of the recipe. Select the recipe that you want to order.
9. Enter the Qty or click the negative or positive sign to increase or decrease the qty. Select the course method if it's (OUT- first course, M/C- Main Course, T/C -Third Course, T/A- Take Away) the default course is"OUT". For each order you can put an instruction, select from the kitchen instruction dropdown if you want a pre-defined instruction or you can also enter a manual instruction, whichever is easier and faster. You can also leave it blank. Click the "Add to orders" button" and repeat steps no. 8 and 9 for the next recipe.
10. When you are done adding the orders, click on "View Orders".
11. The overview of the selected orders will be displayed. Double checked first before you click submit. Once it's submitted, it will be sent to the kitchen. Kitchen dockets will print, assuming that the recipes are linked to the kitchen printer. The table will also change to red (occupied)
Any order you placed in the mobile app, will also be displayed on the computer.

Click the icon next to the view icon, and follow steps 8 and 9.
