An agency category (Partner Category) is a simple way to make further segmentation, to basically divide your agencies (costumer). The category is stand-alone segregation. A category is a fully free segregation based on the needs of the user, whereas a segment is linked to rate codes. The user can also just create one category for all customers. If the property only caters to POS F&B and doesn't allow credit lines to a customer, then this is not applicable.
Remarks: Adding a new record affects all properties within the group. This means adding a new record is all, edit and deleting is per property.
The Categories created here will appear in the program called "Partners".
To Add
- Click the button "+ Add new Record", type the Agency Category name and the Agency description. Hit Submit or enter when done.
To Edit
- Click the "edit" icon and start editing the data.
- Click "submit" when done.
- Click "cancel" if you don't want to make any changes.
To Delete (deactivate)
Double check first before deactivating an Agency Category.
- Navigate to the Agency Category that you want to deactivate, click "deactivate" button.
- Are you sure you want to de-activate this record?
- Click "OK".
To Re-activate
- UN-tick the tick box “hide inactive” to show the in-active records.
- Navigate to the Agency category name that you want to re-activate, click "re-activate" button.
- Are you sure you want to re-activate this record?
- Click "OK".
