This page explains the definition of the terminology used in EHORS.

BDI (Break Down Item)

Short code for Break Down Item, A breakdown item is anything you are selling or offering to the guest aside from the room. It can be, breakfast, attractions and etc.

Package

Package in EHORS are a bundled sales combine with single or more BDI in a bundle sales. Its define by number of says and a total amount, In attraction package it can have more than 1 attractions along side with others BDI.
Example, a package can have 2 attractions, plus additional F&B welcome drink and a service boat transfer. And each attractions can have more than 1 sessions in plan board which allow guest to chose from available time prefer and availability.

Attractions

Attraction in EHORS is a BDI, thus you'll see some mentioned as BDIID and some as itemID and some as attractionID. Each attraction is a BDI sales which can be apply on different time session on different venue.

Plan Board

Plan board in EHORS are use to let customer assign attractions on particular venue with available time session, 1 attractions can be in different venue and on each venue can have different allow capacity and time session. In EHORS each session will be uniquely identify by either planBoardID or sessionID. Please take note on this.

Pax

Translate to number of people/persons/occupants, as succinctly expressed by Callithumpian's answer (apparently it was used as early as the 40s; it became a standard term in the UK Passenger Transport industry in the 70s).

Venue

A place where it hold the attraction or show or service. Depend on size, the capacity can be vary per venue and session.

Session

Session in EHORS defined by a time from and time until with format of  HH:ii (Hours in 2 digits and minute in 2 digits separator with ":")

Market Segment

Sales channel in EHORS to separate or grouping in EHORS sales reports to identify particular or defined markets

Segment Source

Source or where the sales channel came from, these value are linked per market segment, each market segment can have more than 1 source.

PWD (Person With Disability)

Short code for person with disability or some time call as OKU in other country like Malaysia.

VAT (Value-Added Tax)

In short, government tax. A consumption tax placed on a product whenever value is added at each stage of the supply chain, from production to the point of sale. The amount of VAT that the user pays is on the cost of the product, less any of the costs of materials used in the product that have already been taxed.
